TOMATO BACKPACKERS HOTEL & CAFE'
The Staff will help you to choose among the museums and the ongoing cultural exhibitions, to find the right restaurant and or the club that best satisfies your expectations.
You can tour the city center walking or riding one of the bikes that we rent.
If you arrive by car, you can book one of the parking slots right in front of the hotel entrance and forget about during the whole stay. It’s even better if you come by train: we are very near to Porta Nuova train station - and we really care about ecological sustainability!
Our breakfast is simple and lacking of packaged industrial products. We don’t sell plastic bottles of water in our bar, but we provide free water (still, sparkling and hot) with a dispenser; tea and chamomile tea are free too.
There are bins for recycling on every floor, soap and shampoo are supplied by dispensers in every restroom and shower.
Our commitment to preserve the environment has been rewarded with the Ecolabel, the European certificate that can be achieved only standing strict tests.
The mood is informal: you can sit at the large table right in front of the bar and chat with the other guests, play guitar or play table soccer in the basement.
We don’t have any television by choice! If you want to enjoy some peace and quiet, you can use the backyard and read a book rented from our well-supplied bookcases.
If you want to send an e-mail home, you can use the free wi-fi, accessible in the whole building; there is also a shared computer in the lounge that you can always use for free.
You can find every kind of food in San Salvario area: from the little ethnic restaurants to the most refined ones.
Last but not least, don’t miss the nightlife! The locals come to this vicinity to enjoy themselves and spend the night in company.
